Traffic and Construction

The roads around the city of Madison, including the sailing site, will be under a lot of construction throughout Nationals.  Below are some directions to places you may be trying to get to.

Getting to the Memorial Union

Starting on Gorham/ Johnson , turn onto Lake Street followed by a left onto Langdon. You will pass the Union on the right before turning right onto Park Street. Dropoffs should happen in the circle on Park Street by the lakefront.

Leaving the Memorial Union

Leaving the Union should be done by taking Park Street south to University Ave. You have to take a right on University Ave which can be taken out West. If you need to go East, take an immediate left on Brooks Street and another left on Johnson which will take you East.

Getting from the Union to Kronshage dorms

Take Park Street south to University Ave. Turn Right on University and take it all the way to Babcock. You exit right onto Babcock and take it until it deadends at the Kronshage dorms.

A complete map of construction and closed roads in Madison over the next few days can be found here.
