Volunteering

We are looking for volunteers to help us run this huge event. The spreadsheet shows which timeslots are still available join. The gray cells are positions already filled and the white cells are open positions. If you are interested, please fill out the form below to let us know what jobs you would like to do and when.

Volunteer Positions:

• Crash Boat - Be prepared to help if someone capsizes, something on a boat breaks, or someone needs help for any other reason, on a motorboat with 1-2 other people. A great way to see the races up close!
• Motorboat – Drive a motorboat for photographers around the course.
• Daily Security - Watch the sailing site to make sure that the competitors’ gear remains safe during the day.
• Food - Help prepare and serve breakfast and lunch for the volunteers, judges, and race committee.
• Food Delivery Boat – Deliver food to all the judges, race committees, and other officials on the water.
• Traffic - Direct car and foot traffic to parking and the sailing site in the morning.
• Cookout – Help prepare food for the cookouts hosted by Hoofers.
