The 2010 ICSA Spring Nationals are the biggest events of the year in College Sailing.  They include the championships for the three major classes of sailing: women's fleet racing, team racing and coed fleet racing, all raced in doublehanded dinghies.  The competition in each regatta is fierce, as each team has had to qualify just to be here.  In women's, 27 teams qualify by placing well at their district championships.  The top 9 get automatic berths to Finals, while the next 18 get cut in half as 9 are eliminated at Seminals.  The top 14 teams qualify for Team Race Nationals by winning or placing well at their team race district championships.  And finally the teams competing at the Coed Dinghy Championship qualified at the Eastern and Western Semifinals, held May 1-2.  Seattle and Charleston hosted 18 teams each and the top 9 from each made it to Wisconsin.

Find live coverage of the women's and team race championships on this site during the regattas, provided by Sailgroove.org, and tune in to ESPNU in late June for Gary Jobson's annual televised coverage of the Coed Dinghy Championship.
